Brian Garreau has been with the company since 2002. He specializes in weddings and has performed for an average of 60 weddings per year, as well as performed for numerous other events. Brian has always been in the entertainment and service industry. He had worked as a tour guide at Howe Caverns for 12 years and has been a bartender for 20 years. His best asset is definitely his personality. He is very personable on and off the microphone. Brian loves people and making sure his clients are always satisfied. Music is a huge part of everything he does. His deep smooth voice and “Big Bald” presence makes people feel at ease. The big guy loves to have fun!

We would definitely recommend hiring this company for your wedding or special event. Overall, we had very positive, timely, and friendly customer service with Diana. She asked us what we were looking for in a DJ for our wedding. Thereafter, she matched us with a DJ who would fit our needs and who also had been to our venue many times – this was an extra bonus since he knew the room well to set up lighting, etc. We met with Brian G. the first time and he was very easy to talk to, has a passion for music, and explained how the process works. He will set you up on their company website where you can start listing out music preferences, as well as other wedding details. A couple weeks prior to the wedding, he contacted us and we met with him again. Brian was generous and flexible with his time to set up the meeting and at the actual meeting. We noticed he truly cared about making the process easy for us – and no stress on the actual wedding day! He is a friendly guy who provided excellent DJ services.
At the wedding venue, we heard him play our requested songs – including the songs we had selected for our cocktail hour music. He was collaborative and accommodating with family members who were going to sing a song/play guitar during the reception. They mentioned to me that they were impressed and pleased with how well they could hear their vocals. Brian also spoke with the officiant prior to the wedding to go over the special details of our ceremony and was open to her preference of microphone. In addition, prior to the wedding, he made sure he touched base with our videographer with regard to the equipment for our slideshow and to assure all of that would run smoothly. Thank you for paying attention to detail Brian and helping to make our special day, so special!!!! We just wish we could relive it all over again, as well as see/hear what we missed. Actually, we will, once we get our videos/photos! :)”

There was a variety of music. Everything went without a hitch and Brian kept things going. Everyone had so much fun. We still had a lot of people there at the end just having a great time. We felt very comfortable with the DJ. He was easy to talk to and very helpful with music choices. Brian was excellent with all the requests and got all the formalities out of the way first so it was so relaxing and fun. We had so many compliments on the DJ. We had a lot of compliments that night and my mom got a lot of phones calls from people telling her what a great time they had. Brian made sure when certain dances were done everyone important (moms and dads) were there to watch. He had a nice variety of music for different dancing. He did not put any pressure on anyone to rush anything and the songs and dances were a great mixture. Thanks Brian! My wedding was a very memorable day, and we both enjoyed ourselves very much!”

The woman [Diana] I originally dealt with was so nice, so helpful, and so friendly! Our DJ was the absolute best and he made our night PERFECT!! The DJ was better at returning phone calls than I was! He was so helpful! He went over every detail before the wedding and during the event was so thorough without being too present. My aunt specifically requested a song I put on my “do not play list” and me made sure to come ask me before he complied with her request. The dance floor was always packed and the every raved about the party supplies he brought out! The songs were absolutely perfect at all times! It was the most fun I have ever had at a wedding (and I’m not just saying that because it was my own wedding). Everyone raved on and on about how they didn’t want to leave. We could not have had a better connection with our DJ. He was absolutely wonderful and was so professional and friendly. We could not have asked for a better DJ. We loved him!!! All of our questions/concerns were answered completely and in a prompt manner. We felt very comfortable dealing with Piano Man during the entire process. Brian also kept in regular contact during the planning to see if we had any questions about his services and just to see how wedding planning was going. It was wonderful to feel that the DJ actually cared about us. Keeping in regular contact with Brian afforded a pretty high comfort level. In speaking with him during the time leading up to the event it felt more like talking to a friend as opposed to just another vendor. Everything went according to plan. If there were an option to rate Brian better than excellent here, we certainly would… all of our guests had an outstanding time. (Friends and family are still talking about what a good time they had… even the people who don’t dance were on the floor!). The dance floor was full the entire night… enough said! Diana was awesome to deal with. After our first meeting when we were looking for a DJ, we left our meeting with Diana and felt confident that the Piano Man would provide a great service. She was also very helpful in answering all of our questions/concerns along the way.”
